Conference Table Buying Guide

A custom conference table suits boardrooms, hotel meeting rooms and training rooms where a standard table does not fit the room or cannot hide AV cabling. It is not ideal if rooms must be rearranged often; flip-top or modular tables work better there. Before ordering, confirm room size, seat count, chair clearance, AV equipment, floor box positions, and access route for long tops.

Arcova builds each Conference Table with matched veneer sequences across sections, pre-cut power and AV openings, and labelled parts for installation. Finishes can match executive desks and office storage walls. Bases can be panel, metal or timber, and edges can be square, chamfered or beveled.

How long can a single-piece top be?

Length is limited by board size, transport and building access. Long tables are usually split into sections with matched veneer and concealed joints, so the top reads as one surface. Maximum single-piece length is confirmed and depends on your access route and finish.

Do you supply the power boxes?

We can source boxes to your local plug standard, or fit boxes supplied by your AV contractor. Send the model number and quantity early so cut-outs are machined precisely in the factory. Cable paths through the legs are planned to reach your floor box positions.

How much space per person should we plan?

Many planners allow roughly 600 to 750 mm of table edge per seated person, plus clearance behind chairs for movement. These are general references, not fixed rules, so confirm with your designer based on chair size and how the room will be used. Spare grommet covers are supplied with the order.

Can the table match existing furniture?

Yes. Send a physical sample or clear photos of existing furniture, and we will prepare a finish sample for approval. Matching aged or site-finished surfaces may need more than one sample round, so allow time in the schedule. Approved samples stay on file for future matching.
