Angled or horizontal shelves?

Angled shelves show labels clearly and drive sales, so they suit display bays at eye level. Horizontal racks keep corks moist and store more bottles, suiting back stock and long-term storage. Most stores combine both in each bay. Bottle stops on angled shelves stop customers knocking bottles off when browsing.

How heavy are loaded racks?

Wine is heavy; a full bay can weigh a lot more than ordinary shelving. Floors must be level and strong enough, and tall racks need wall fixing. Send bottle capacity per bay so the structure is designed for the load. Values are confirmed per design.

Will lighting heat the wine?

LED produces much less heat than halogen, but it should still be kept a short distance from bottles. Warm color temperature suits wine displays. Avoid strong direct light on bottles stored for long periods.

Can racks fit different bottle shapes?

Yes. Burgundy, champagne and magnum bottles are wider than standard bottles. Plan some bays with larger spacing or adjustable shelves. Tell us your product mix so rack sizes suit the stock. Adjustable shelves also let the store change its range by season without new racks.
