How do you avoid a weak corner joint?

The corner is supported by a leg, panel or the wall batten, and the two worktop sections are joined with concealed connectors. For long spans, a support rail under the top prevents sagging. These details are shown on the shop drawing for approval.

Can monitors and heavy equipment sit on the desk?

Yes, with correct support. Monitor arms clamp to the top edge, so the worktop and reinforcement must suit the clamp. Tell us how many monitors and the equipment weight so supports and top material are specified properly.

Is a wall-fixed or freestanding desk better?

Wall-fixed desks feel solid and leave more leg room, but need suitable walls. Freestanding units can move with the tenant and suit rental housing. In student housing, wall-fixed versions resist damage better. Confirm wall construction before choosing.

How is the unit installed?

Parts arrive flat-packed and labelled. Installers assemble the supports, fix the worktop sections with connectors, level the top and secure it to the wall where specified. Shelves and lighting follow. Guidance and online technical support are provided.
