How much weight can the open desk hold?

The capacity depends on flap supports, cabinet fixing and wall type. Laptops and books are typical, but people should not sit or stand on the flap. Load values are confirmed per support type. Tell us the intended use and we will select supports and mark limits on drawings.

Is it comfortable for long working hours?

For short tasks it works well. For full-time work, the flap is usually shallower than a standard desk and leg space is limited. If users work all day, consider a deeper flap with extra supports or a fixed desk elsewhere. Desk height should match the chair used.

How do cables work when the desk closes?

Cables pass through a grommet at the back of the cabinet and to a socket inside the storage area, so devices can stay plugged in. The flap needs enough clearance to close over a laptop charger. Confirm the power socket type for your market. Socket positions are marked on the shop drawings.

What wall is required?

Masonry, concrete or reinforced stud walls are needed because users lean on the open flap. Plasterboard alone is not enough. Installers should use the fixing points marked on drawings and the anchors suited to the wall. For hotels, the site engineer should approve the fixing method.
