Can joinery be placed close to a fireplace?

Only outside the clearance zones stated by the fireplace manufacturer and local code. Combustible materials such as wood and MDF must stay out of those zones, which are typically finished with stone, tile or other non-combustible boards. Send the installation manual so we show limits on drawings.

Can a TV go above the fireplace?

Yes, if the insert allows it. Some inserts direct heat forward or need a heat shield. TV height above a fire can be uncomfortable for viewing, so check room sightlines and the manufacturer's guidance first.

Who supplies the stone surround?

Stone or tile surrounds are usually supplied and fitted locally, then joinery is fitted around them. We coordinate dimensions on drawings so both trades meet cleanly.

Can the insert be changed later?

Changing to a larger or different insert may need new openings and clearances. Fix the model before production. If future change is likely, we can design a removable trim panel.
