Floor-to-Ceiling Shoe Cabinet Buying Guide

A floor-to-ceiling shoe cabinet suits apartment entrances, villas and serviced residences where shoes, bags and coats need to disappear in a small footprint. It is less suitable for very narrow corridors where doors block passage, or where boots and sports gear need extra depth. Before ordering, confirm hall width, ceiling height, cabinet depth, door type, ventilation, shoe types and whether a bench or mirror is required.

Arcova manufactures floor-to-ceiling shoe cabinets with CNC-drilled shelf holes for flexible layouts. Finishes match the entry doors and joinery, and units ship labelled by apartment with installation guidance. Inspection photo reports are shared before loading.

FAQ

Floor-to-Ceiling Shoe Cabinet FAQs

How do we control odors in a closed shoe cabinet?
Ventilation is key. We add slots, grilles or gaps at top and bottom so air moves through the cabinet. Shelves with gaps or perforations improve airflow. Users should let wet shoes dry before storing them. Moisture-resistant boards help in humid climates. A small charcoal or dehumidifier pack can also help.
Are angled shelves better than flat shelves?
Angled shelves display shoes and save depth, which suits shallow cabinets. Flat adjustable shelves fit boots and larger shoes more easily. Many projects mix both. Tell us typical shoe types and quantities so we balance capacity and flexibility. Shelf holes let owners change layouts later.
Is a full-height cabinet stable?
Full-height cabinets must be fixed to the wall or ceiling. We mark fixing points and supply brackets. Installers should check the wall type and use suitable anchors. Scribing to ceiling also improves stability and gives a fitted look. Doors are adjusted after fixing so gaps stay even.
Can it combine with a coat cabinet?
Yes. Many entry walls combine a shoe section, coat hanging, bench niche and small drawers for keys. We design these as one elevation with matching finishes, so the entry looks unified. Send the hall plan to begin layout. Matching finishes are approved on one sample before production.
