A corner built-in wardrobe suits bedrooms where one straight wall is too short and the corner is otherwise wasted, giving more hanging length in the same floor area. It is not ideal for very small rooms where the corner is needed for a door swing or circulation. Corner sections can be hard to reach without the right fittings. Before ordering, confirm both wall lengths, door and window positions, corner type, door style and interior layout.

Is the corner space really usable?

Yes, with the right design. Corner hanging rails let clothes run around the corner, and open corner shelves are easy to reach. Without fittings, the deep corner becomes dead space. Our drawings show how each corner zone is accessed so you can judge before production.

Diagonal or L-shaped corner?

A diagonal corner unit with an angled door gives wide access but takes more floor space. An L-shaped layout meets at a right angle and keeps the room squarer, but needs fittings for the inner corner. Room size and door positions usually decide which works better.

Can corner doors clash?

Doors on either side of the corner can collide if hinges and filler widths are wrong. We add corner fillers and check door swings on drawings. Bi-fold corner doors or open corners avoid clashes in tight layouts.

How should the room be measured?

Measure both walls at floor, middle and ceiling height, the corner angle, ceiling height and any skirting, sockets or windows. Corners are often not square, so measurements at several points help us size fillers for a tight fit.
