High-Gloss Lacquer Kitchen Buying Guide

A high-gloss lacquer kitchen suits premium apartments, show units and modern villas where a reflective, seamless look adds perceived value. It is less suitable for rental housing or high-traffic family kitchens where fingerprints, scratches and impact chips are a concern, and repairs need a spray booth. Before ordering, confirm gloss level, color code, handle system, edge profile, sink and appliance positions and whether the same color must match panels in other rooms.

Arcova sprays and polishes lacquer fronts in controlled conditions, approves finish samples before mass production and checks color consistency batch to batch. Every high-gloss lacquer kitchen ships with protective film, unit-labelled packing and installation guidance.

FAQ

High-Gloss Lacquer Kitchen FAQs

How durable is a high-gloss lacquer finish?
Lacquer is smooth and easy to wipe but softer than melamine or acrylic, so sharp objects and abrasive cleaners can mark it. Small scratches can often be polished out, while chips may need respraying. For rental or heavy-use kitchens, we usually suggest lacquer on display fronts and a tougher finish on lower working areas.
Can you match a color across kitchen and other rooms?
Yes. Send RAL or NCS codes or a physical sample. We spray approval samples first, and once you sign them off the same reference is used for kitchen fronts, interior doors and wardrobes. Different lighting and gloss levels can change how colors read, so approve samples in conditions close to the site.
Do handleless lacquer kitchens need special installation?
Gola or J-profile systems require accurate leveling and consistent gaps, otherwise the reflective surface exaggerates misalignment. Installers should level carcasses carefully and adjust hinges after doors are hung. We provide labelled drawings and fitting guidance, and our technical team is available online to answer site questions.
How are lacquered doors protected during shipping?
Each front is covered with protective film, separated by foam or corner protectors and packed flat in cartons labelled by unit or room. Leave the film on until installation is complete. Inspect cartons on arrival and photograph any damage so replacements can be arranged quickly.
