Product Description

Wardrobe Pull-Down Rail System Buying Guide

A wardrobe pull-down rail system suits rooms with high ceilings, senior living projects and accessible apartments where upper wardrobe space is otherwise hard to use. It is not suitable for heavy loads beyond the mechanism rating, very narrow bays where the arm cannot fit, or wardrobes with shallow depth. Before ordering, confirm ceiling and wardrobe height, bay width, clothing load, user group and door type, since doors must open fully for the rail to come down.

Arcova builds each wardrobe pull-down rail system with mechanisms selected by load and bay width, fixed to reinforced side panels. Operation is checked in the factory, and drawings show mounting positions so local installers fit them correctly.

  • Made to your drawings and site measurements
  • ISO9001, BSCI and FSC certified factory

FAQ

Wardrobe Pull-Down Rail System FAQs

How much weight can the rail carry?
Each mechanism has a rated load, and overloading makes it hard to lift or return smoothly. Ratings vary by brand and model, so we confirm the value once the mechanism is selected. For heavy winter coats and suits, a fixed lower rail is usually better, keeping the pull-down rail for shirts and lighter garments.
Can it be used with sliding doors?
Sliding doors usually cover part of the opening, which can stop the rail from coming down fully. Hinged doors that open completely are recommended. If sliding doors are required by the design, bay widths and door overlap must be checked carefully on drawings before production.
Is it easy for elderly users?
The damped mechanism lowers and returns with moderate force, and the handle sits within reach of most standing users. For care settings, check reach height and pulling force with the operator, and consider a mock-up so residents and staff can try it before mass production.
Can mechanisms be serviced later?
Mechanisms are screw-fixed to reinforced side panels and can be adjusted or replaced without dismantling the wardrobe. Keep the model reference on your maintenance record. Replacement parts can be ordered through us by model, which is useful for hotels and senior living operators managing many rooms.
