Do drawers need runners or castors?

Runners give smooth, guided travel and suit drawers raised off the floor. Castor drawers roll on the floor and can be deeper, but need hard flooring and level ground. For carpeted rooms, runners usually work better. We recommend based on your floor finish and drawer size.

How much side clearance do drawers need?

Allow enough space to fully open drawers beside the bed, typically more than the drawer depth plus room to stand. Bedside tables often block drawers, so mark them on plans. Foot-end drawers can help in narrow rooms.

Is assembly difficult?

Frames use knock-down fittings with labelled parts and instructions. Two people can assemble most beds. Hotels and student projects may prefer pre-assembled drawer boxes to save site time, which we can discuss.

Can you supply mattresses?

We focus on the bed frame and storage joinery. Send the mattress model and dimensions so frames fit correctly. Mattress sourcing is usually arranged by your purchasing team or a specialist supplier. If mattress models change after drawings are approved, tell us before production so platform height and frame size can be rechecked.
