What type of doors work best?

Lift-up flaps open clear of the pillows and stay open while you reach inside, which suits bedrooms. Hinged doors are simpler and cheaper but swing over the sleeping area. Lift stays are selected by door size and weight, so confirm the finish early because it affects door weight.

Can reading lights be built in?

Yes, LED reading lights can be recessed into the underside of the bridge cabinet with switches or USB points at bedside level. We route cables in the factory so wiring stays hidden. A local electrician completes the connection to meet your country's electrical rules.
