Many designers aim for an aisle of roughly 1000–1200 mm between runs, which is only a typical reference. Too narrow and open doors block movement; too wide and the efficiency is lost. Send the room plan and we will check clearances for doors, drawers and appliances.

Should base cabinets use drawers or doors?

Drawers usually work better in galley kitchens because they bring contents forward without bending into deep cupboards. They also need less swing space than wide doors. Doors remain useful for sink units and corner areas. We can mix both depending on budget.

Can one side be shallower?

Yes. Using reduced-depth cabinets on the secondary wall gives a wider aisle while keeping storage. This side often takes pantry pull-outs or a breakfast shelf. Appliances usually stay on the full-depth side, so confirm models early.

How are galley kitchens packed for apartment projects?

Each apartment's kitchen is packed and labelled by unit number and cabinet position, with drawings included. This prevents mix-ups on site and speeds installation. Inspection with photo reports is completed before loading.
