Who supplies the stone for the waterfall ends?

Both routes work. We can supply engineered panels in veneer or lacquer, or prepare the island for stone fitted locally. For stone, we size the carcass to the stone thickness on your drawings and leave the end panels open so the fabricator can template on site and achieve a tight miter.

How is the seating overhang supported?

Longer overhangs need concealed steel brackets or flat bar fixed to the carcass so stools and leaning do not stress the countertop. We mark bracket positions on the shop drawings. Your stone or quartz supplier should confirm the maximum unsupported overhang for their specific material and thickness.

Can the island include a sink or cooktop?

Yes, but services must be planned early. Send the sink and cooktop models, drain position and any downdraft extractor details. We leave service voids and removable back panels for plumbers and electricians. Floor outlets should be set out on site to match the approved drawing before installation.

How does a large island ship without damage?

Islands ship as separate cabinet modules and panels, each wrapped, corner-protected and labelled by unit and room. Waterfall panels are packed flat with edge guards. On site, modules are joined with connector bolts, leveled on adjustable legs, and the panels are fixed last for an aligned finish.
