A flush painted interior door suits apartments, hotels, offices and senior living projects where a clean, modern look and easy cleaning matter. It is not suitable as a fire door unless a certified fire-rated system is specified, and honeycomb cores are not ideal where sound privacy is important. Before ordering, confirm opening sizes, wall thickness, swing direction, core type, color, lock and hinge models and any fire or acoustic requirement.

Is a solid core better than honeycomb?

Solid-core doors are heavier, block sound better and feel more substantial when closing. Honeycomb cores are lighter and cheaper and suit storage rooms or low-traffic areas. Bedrooms, bathrooms and hotel rooms usually use solid core. Hinge type and quantity are matched to the final leaf weight.

How do we handle paint touch-ups?

Factory spray paint gives a uniform, smooth finish that is hard to achieve on site. Small damage during installation can be touched up with matching paint. Ask for touch-up kits with the shipment and protect doors until painting and flooring trades finish, since most damage happens during construction.

Can doors be supplied to a door schedule?

Yes. Send your door schedule with opening sizes, wall thickness, swing direction and hardware for each door. We label every door set by door number so installers fit the right set in each opening, which saves sorting time on large apartment or hotel projects.

Do you supply the hardware?

Hinges, locks and stops can be supplied by budget, or doors can be machined for hardware bought locally. Either way, confirm models before production so hinge recesses and lock cut-outs match templates. Changing hardware after machining usually means re-machining or replacing leaves.
