A WPC waterproof door suits bathrooms, kitchens, laundry rooms, staff areas and projects in tropical or coastal climates where timber or MDF doors can swell. It is not ideal for buyers wanting real-wood grain depth, very heavy acoustic performance or fire-rated doors unless a certified system is specified. Before ordering, confirm wall thickness for the frame, opening sizes, surface finish, hardware positions and whether a fire or acoustic rating is required.

Is a WPC door fully waterproof?

The WPC core does not swell like MDF when exposed to water, making it suitable for wet areas. Water should still not be left pooling on hardware, and cut edges made on site should be sealed. It is designed for splashes and humidity, not immersion.

How does WPC compare to solid wood?

WPC is more stable in humidity and resists termites, but it is heavier and has a printed or film surface rather than natural grain. Solid wood looks richer but can move with moisture. For bathrooms and humid regions, WPC is usually the safer choice.

Can WPC doors be painted on site?

Most WPC doors arrive with a finished film or factory paint, so on-site painting is not needed. If repainting is planned, suitable primers are required. Choosing the final color at sample stage avoids extra site work and uneven results.

Do you supply hardware?

Hinges, locks and stops can be supplied by budget or prepared for local hardware. Doors are pre-machined to the hardware templates, so confirm models before production. Stainless or corrosion-resistant hardware is recommended for wet rooms.
